In the alpine, natural triggered avalanches are expected. The snow will continue to accumulate in already well-filled lee areas and the additional load on the weak layers may become too heavy. Wet avalanches are expected at the lower altitudes, but melting of the snow is the highest threat in the lowest altitudes. (NVE)

Dry wind slabs may be naturally triggered high in the alpine in the eastern part of the region. Heavy rainfall may cause naturally triggered wet avalanches at lower altitudes. Eastern parts of the region are most exposed. There is little snow in the western part of the region (west of Svolvær). (NVE)
