Highest danger level per day
The highest danger level per day is currently only governed by flood and landslide warnings

Flood

Green level (NVE)

Avalanche

Complex situation with a reactive persistent weak layer. Big avalanches have been easily triggered. Remote triggering from less steep terrain is also possible. Absence of danger signs does not mean it's safe. Intense solar radiation can cause wet avalanches. Smaller wet avalanches could trigger large avalanches. (NVE)

Nord-Troms

Complex situation with a reactive persistent weak layer. Big avalanches have been easily triggered. Remote triggering from less steep terrain is also possible. Absence of danger signs does not mean it's safe. Intense solar radiation can cause wet avalanches. Smaller wet avalanches could trigger large avalanches. (NVE)

Lyngen

Sun triggered avalanches can occur. There is a persistent weak layer buried in the snow pack. With generally hard wind slabs over weak layers, an absence of danger signs does not necessarily mean that it is safe. Be very careful in avalanche terrain, especially in areas with wind deposited snow. (NVE)

Tromsø

The avalanche danger increases throughout the day. Intense solar radiation can cause wet avalanches. Some wind slabs can be triggered in the alpine. Old persistent weak layers are still causing concern, but they are proving hard to trigger. (NVE)

Sør-Troms

Persistent weak layers are still reactive to triggering and large avalanches are expected. Wind slabs from earlier this week are possible to trigger in some areas. Wet loose avalanches are possible if the sun peeks out for prolonged periods. Conservative terrain choices are recommended. (NVE)
